@1bike1world logo refresh and animation
In 2022 the owner of my favorite traveling cat reached out to his audience looking for an animator to update their current logo and Youtube video bumper. The original version was fun but the quality was low, and was created in a flat, static illustration that couldn’t be scaled, manipulated, or animated. Dean requested that I animate his cat, Nala, running behind the bike then jumping into the front basket for a ride. A few months later Dean reached out again and I added Nala’s paw slapping the ‘subscribe’ button in the bumper.
The original logo (below, left) was commissioned by Dean from an artist on Fiverr. While charming, it was a low resolution static image that couldn’t be animated or used in many placements without looking pixilated. I kept the integrity of the original design but added more definition, clean lines, and accuracy to Dean, Nala, and their gears appearance.
The final animated Youtube bumper also includes Nala’s paw swiping the Subscribe button.
